What I Did Today

I think I used to really like school...
Now it’s all I can do to come home during the week, begrudgingly do my homework, make time for dinner and fall asleep. It’s like some insatiable vampire octopus that has wrapped itself around my face and is sucking all it can out of me. I feel like I’ve been running a marathon and I might collapse a few yards in front of the finish line.

I just found out that those crazy fuckers from Westboro Baptist Church in Kansas are coming to my school next Saturday to protest RM’s production of The Laramie Project, a play about the murder of Matthew Shepard in 1998. Shepard’s funeral was one of the first that they ever protested with those infamous signs.
